Post-partum coil insertion, also known as immediate post-partum intrauterine device (IUD) placement, is a contraceptive method where a small device is inserted into the uterus shortly after childbirth.
Post-partum coil insertion provides immediate and highly effective contraception, helping to prevent unintended pregnancies soon after childbirth.
